A transgender taxi driver who scooped £4million on a Lottery Scratchcard has undergone a dramatic makeover for a magazine photo shoot.
Melissa Ede, 56, said no one recognised her when they saw her with her new look while she was out shopping.
Melissa, from Hull, revealed the makeover as she shared a picture of her transformation on Facebook with her followers.
She said: “It’s mixed reactions between how lovely I look and others are like, ‘you can’t do that, it’s not the Melissa Ede we know’.”
Her new wig has caught people off guard, she said, adding: “They supplied it to me yesterday at the photo shoot for Closer magazine.
But she was quick to point out that her brunette do is not permanent because it is a wig, the Hull Daily Mail reports.
Melissa, who has four adult children, was given the makeover as she posed for Closer magazine following her life-changing win.
She joked that her makeover is so stylish that it could give the Kardashian clan a run for their money.
“It’s for an article Closer is doing on me and they decided to give me a before and after makeover and that is how my hair and face ended up afterwards.”
Melissa, who admits she enjoys the media attention, said she is not sure if the new look is for her after nobody recognised her when she went out shopping.
